Indy garage worth their weight in gold?

Hi guys/gals,

Looking for names of a few top independent garages to do service work on Honda Accord (current shape). Needs the big 75K service doing.
Oil/Fuel filters, valve check, tranny flush/refill, pads and discs check, pollen filter, and more inspections.

So, looking at £300 - presume that's inc VAT from Agnews Honda on Boucher Road - I'd be interested to see if there's much difference by going independent.
