Mazda Millenium blower questions....come in yanks!

I was looking at my Eaton M45 blower and I've decided it's big lump of crap. Does anyone have the size/weight/spec of a Mazda Millenia blower (lysholm) if it's not too big, I'll import one. And no, I don't want a turbo.

Make sure you get a new one, parts for rebuild aren't available! They're pretty compact. Specs must be available on a web site somewhere.

Are they usually cained? I would have thought they were pretty bombproof. M45's last forever apparently. I thought with the build quality of a twin screw blower unless it had sucked in some filth, it would be fine.

Or am I seriously wrong?

i know some of the Magy superchargers in the states lots the coating on the roaters whe people spraied meth before the blower! not heard any other problems with though

You're right. The one I stripped had overboosted on somebody else's install. It was ok inside but I couldn't get new shaft seals for it. People in Canada and the US wouldn't supply them so another blower was sought. They only wanted to supply rebuilds blah blah. It's a tidy unit imo.

Mazda Millenia superchargers are made by IHI ( Ishikawajima-Harima Heavy Industries) in Japan. According to the folks on the Mazda World forum these are the folks to talk to
