Gallardo Options list help......
Discussion
Hi chaps
After the help i received on the lifting system (lambo are coming to try it on my drive to be sure it fits) i wonder if you can answer a few other quick questions from the options list:
1. What colours are available at the standard retail price?
2. What are classed as metallic and what are 3 layer colours? (any that cover both?)
3. Anyone recommend a good outside cover?
Thanks again guys

EIH,
Here are the answers to your questions.
With regards to the exterior colours, Nero Noctis (flat black) and Giallo Halys (flat yellow) are the only standard colours available at no extra cost.
The difference between metallic paint and three stage is the pearlescant three stage tends to glitter in the sunlight, and is more difficult to paint match when spraying stone chips. It is also more expensive, and limited to 2 colours on the 2006 coupe, Giallo Midas (yellow) and Arancio Borealis (orange).
The majority of coulours are available as metalic paint, and of course Lamborghini will paint your car any colour you want for the right money. The paint finish is getting so good on modern Lamborginis that usually a metallic will look as good as a pearlescant paint as long as the car is kept clean.
With regards to an outdoor cover, try Peter at Covercraft, (0207 736 3214) and tell him that I sent you. He will look after you.
Anything else you need, just ask.
Ruttboy.
