Being colourblind (and stupid) I've just taken delivery of brand new, made to order, footwell matts for my Chimaera ..... and you've guessed it, my interior isn't Biscuit & Magnolia. So if anyone out there has that magic colour combination and would be interested in brand new footwell matts... let me know.

Won't the supplier swap them for you? I'm suprised if they are always made to order.

They are a mile off.... my interior is closer to Chocolate and Magnolia, apparently. They are genuine TVR supplied matts, and in fairness they double checked the colour with me, rang up and said are you sure. So it is entirely my own fault.

To be honest I don't like the colour so I wouldn't have the rest of the interior redone..... but I did think about it !!

Jamie

According to my non colour blind colleague the carpets I have match the colour of your center consol leather, and their trim matches the colour of your carpet on the tunnel.

I thought £70 would be reasonable, that way I learn a £48 lesson.... check before leaping !! If not, what would you suggest ?

I took a trip to a company in Middlewich (just middle from northwich, or is that the wrong way round?)called Martrim (ad in TVRCC mag somewhere) and they quoted me about 50 quid for a pair of wool mats for my griff, or 500ish to completely recarpet (don't know if that includes grippers and underlay!). Popped into Christopher Neils on the way back and they said they send all their trimming work there - might be worth a try - i'm just going to get new (non-stinky) mats for now...

It's not tricky .... I explained they're Biscuit & Magnolia .... I ordered them direct, incorrectly due to colourblindness mixed with stupidity.

This'll just run and run. I'm also get blues wrong, and yellow and green, it's an interesting predicament.

Next time I'll pay the money and have TVR search their records for the right colour combination .... just got to slip this bill past the watchful one first.
