Ime off to the "Dripping pan" at Lewes F.C. this saturday to follow Basingstoke F.C.,apparently the ground is having some extensive work done to bring it inline with conference league standards and the trip door to door will be around 90 miles.

Where are you off to this weekend?

Cambridge for a re-union of ex_uni cross country runners. Not likely to do any sport other than drinking games though

This saturday its off to Bognor Regis Town FC and our tenth game without a win but what the heck!! aslong as we have a good time on our travels, last week at Lewes where we got a two all draw the national non league paper described us as raucus...,love this league they had a bar on the terraces, all the fans mixed, drank, sang and bantered with each other and with two minutes left and us winning 2-1 Lewes attacked one more time and scored the equaliser.

The stand behind the goal which all the crowd was in due to redevelopement erupted, cracking afternoon.

The new terrace behind the goal at Lewes FC,the begining to their fantastic ground improvements is an amalgamation of a new stand next to the old 3 storey clubhouse, the ground is surrounded around the perimeter with an old wall centuries old that restricts some of the developement.

The main stand at Bognor about half hour before kick off,a lovely neat little ground with an excellent pitch covered on 3 sides, the end behind the goal consists of a few steps of terrace and a open area with chairs and tables outside the social club where one can sit and drink whilst watching the game, preceeded by a trip down the seafront for Fish & Chips and an ice cream if you get the chance to go to Bognor for a game its worth the trip.
Great day out, does anyone really want to be promoted from this league nono
