Can someone point me in the right direction of the law which states it's illegal to block a parked car?

You're probably thinking of RTA 1988 s.22 - leaving a vehicle in a dangerous position or 22A causing danger by causing anything to be on a road.

Not entirely sure about what you mean in the question though.

Sorry, I meant if you parked a car to block in another, I would assume it would be illegal, but I cannot find anything in the law to prove this.
