Well as i sit here typing this with a cast on i still am having trouble believing it,

i got taken out by a bmw x5 turning left from the far right lane on a roundabout (apex corner) as i was coming to a stop for a set of traffic lights sending me 100yds down the road and breaking my scaphoid bone which is looking like its going to need an operation.

luckily the guy stopped and i have a witness so i'm hoping it'll be sorted soon.

Bad news glad to hear you are not too badly hurt, I broke my shoulder 4 weeks ago coming off my Moto X bike......so I only have myself to blame

Get better soon

Oliver,

Mate, so sorry to hear about that. Excuse my ignorance, but where is that bone? I'm guessing the bike is a mess? Hate to hear about these kinda things, I hope the injury heals asap, and you get right back out there.
Are you at home now, pampered by the family??

Good luck mate.

Nick, scaphoid is between the thumb and the wrist, and is a beggar for breaking when you decelerate using hands.
While you are shopping for a new lid....

Oli, really pleased you're OK enough to be posting. Its only metal, and bones heal.
