Throttle body size

Hope you guys can help out. Will going two sizes up on the individual throttle bodies (extra 8mm in diameter) effect the engine in any way. I know it will effect the airflow speed into the ports and hence the fuel droplets might drop out of the airflow. I presume this is usually for naturally aspirated engines, but what about boosted engines ? What kind of 'loss' (eg control) in what area of the engine performance can I expect ?
I suspect that the throttle bodies I have aqquired, are way over size for my application, unless I slap a turbo on it.
