Not quite the way he'd have wanted to clinch the crown I'm sure, but well done Lewis, hopefully we'll see you in F1 next year.

Saw the race after getting pressure from Adam Carroll in the first few laps he was always around 2-3 seconds behind Piquet even after the pitstop until he started to put in some quick laps at 2/3rds distance and Piquet seemed to suffer with lack of grip. Getting the gap down to about 1.5 seconds and holding station. Didn't see Pantano overtake under yellow but if he did it was Yoshimoto who was being lapped and probably yeilded, so that might be a bit unfair especially as he did the fastest lap on his very last lap, very impressive considering the tyres. Still at least they didn't take away a very well won victory.
Still, no pressure on Lewis tommorow, he can go out overtake everyone in front of him and win the race to finish on a high and give Ron a little reminder. Now how far behind Kimi is Pedro on the grid......

From what they were saying on TV this morning it is my understanding that Pantano was penalised because the stewards thought he should have lifted off instead of pushing for a fastest lap when yellow flags were out, rather than for overtaking under yellows. It seems harsh given that the yellows were out for a car parked out of the way at the side of the track and were followed by greens a further thirty or so yards down the road.
