On hols next week so might treat myself.... I've been trying to avoid Test Drive because of Atari's pricing policy. Full price in Europe and half price in the US. I've also heard murmors of Test Drive getting a little boring and repetative now that people have had a few days with it.

Dead Rising looks like a laught though. Especially after a few beers.

I've clocked up ten hours game time on TDU since Thursday evening (this is a lot for me - I'm usually only on a couple hours Friday night, and a couple hours Sunday), so it's fair to say TDU has me pretty hooked, and I'm not showing signs of boredom yet. By contrast, Dead Rising (which came through the post at the same time as TDU) has been on once, simply to make sure it works!

So, I've yet to give DR a fair go, but I suspect it'll have a shorter life than TDU.

I bought both, I find test drive a bit boring to be honest and currently prefer Dead Rising. Save points seem ok you just have to locate the toilets and save there frequently!

Dead Rising is the daddy, I am tempted by TDU but I really can't afford it this month as much as i'd really like it. Got the Zombie Genocider achievement yesterday after spending 3hrs driving around the tunnels running down 54,000 zombies... The real Megaman blaster will be mine next time round though!

I have both. To answer your question...

I picked up Dead Rising on Friday night. Played it for an hour or so..

TDU arrived in the post on Saturday morning, and I haven't stopped playing it since.

I guess i'll go back to DR in a while, but tbh I could have done without it. I only bought it as I wanted something to play on Friday night and had a feeling that TDU wouldn't have arrived that morning.

Hehe.. gonna keep it for a while - i'm sure i'll come back to it.

I could flog it to ya, but if I was really bothered Id just take it back to Game for a no-fuss refund. So unless you want to send over the full £50... might as well get a shiny new copy in a shop! (or wait a day or 3 and get it for £39.99 from Play)

Not much point ordering from Play when you can get it from Tesco or Sainsburys at £39.97 - save yourself the wait!
