whilst I like the style of my wheels they do not to be reconditioned to bring them up to A1

I was thinking about swopping them for a set of other alloys and keeping them in the garage.

I want to stick with TVR wheels, rather than an aftermarket company. I have seen some with Chimaera wheels, which I beleive fit without too much trouble. Are there are any wheels that would fit without much hassle - ie, Griff 7 spokers, cerb 16 inch standard wheels etc etc?

CarZee had a set of TVR wheels off me with the S, I think they were off a wedge.. look quite cool actually, like a wide 5 spoke design..

Cheers
Matt.

I think the standard Griff/Chim front (15"/7") wheels will fit, but there's always a small chance that you find a set with a non-standard offset so I'd try them on to be on the safe side before parting with the cash.

Griff wheels are like gold dust and the Chim 15 inch ones are still around but getting harder to find as well. cerbera/wedge/Tuscan all are 5 stud fitting and won't fit.

I never did find out where the wheels were from, they were fitted to my S when I bought it, the TVR centre badges, were put on by myself, and purchased from the car club. It may be the wheels were not supplied by TVR? as the car to which they were fitted was originally fitted with the Oz 8 spoke wheels.

Does this mean Cerby wheels would fit a wedge?

The wheel in the picture is a Rimstock or Rimstar and was an after market wheel available around 1988-91 .
