let me guess... it's red nearly all the time.? Don't bother replacing it as it's complete cr@p anyway.. I think the replacement bit that always fails is about £180.! Both my griffs had permanent red lights/leds. Trust me if it's icy the last thing on your mind in a griff will be wondering if the ice detector is working.

They always fail in open circuit and the red light stays on. 180 is not right. I paid 7.50 plus VAT to have mine fixed 4 weeks ago. If you want to know wher I got it fixed let me know.

Try Dave Batty - TVR specialist at The Garage. Address is Compton, Guildford, Surrey, GU3 1DX and he is right on the A3. Telephone number is 01483 811995. Other service costs from Dave were: full set of new plugs £35 rear pads £25 new belt £29 labour £35 an hour Prices exclude VAT and were charged August this year. What Dave doesn't charge for is the most committed care and attention a person can give a TVR. And he drives a Griff himself - you can trust him with your baby, honest. Good luck Angus
