Solidworks - HELP!!

Is anyone out there a solidworks guru?

I'm in desperate need of some help! Very quickly - I'm trying to draw a slanted feature across a curve (cylinder) and the way I'm doing it doesn't look great and is highly time consuming.

Are there any good books/websites to go through to learn how to use this badger properly?
