Started my new job today and got a focus hire car for 2 months , Just been into Bridport to see my mate came over a crest at about 50 and a big dog or a deer it was in the middle of my side of the road tried to avoid it but had no time to react and hit it , Been and told plod and havent heard anything back yet , i must have killed the poor bugger as i was doing about 50 at the point of impact messed up the bumper light bonnet and wing of the car , at the moment i feel absolutley gutted last thing i want to do is hit an animal , but on the other side of the coin i am furious that someone (and if it was) let there dog out on an unlit A road in the middle of nowhere, if it was i hope i never meet the owner as i will the crap out of them , owning a dog is a responsability , just hope i dont get sacked for pranging a car on my first day , 2003 hasnt gone too well so far

awww mate! that is bad news, but hardly your fault. Sorry to hear about it - maybe some beers are required to sooth that pain? I'm on my 2nd big bottle of 1664, so know it's the truth.

Sorry to hear that denny, kinda makes u feel all sick when u hit some animal, firkin even worse if it was due to someones inability to look after it, unlucky if it was a wild animal mind.
Can see ya getting sacked for the damaging the focus, probably looks better now
