V8 Engine tuners?

Anyone know of a good one around the Midlands area?
I still have that missfire. I have had a good look today but haven't got to the bottom of it yet.

I figure if I take it to someone who really knows their stuff, then I can get it sorted once and for all.
What I don't want is to take it to a land rover dealer, for them to replace everything elecrtical and not know what was wrong with it.
Can anyone recomend someone in the Midlands area?

I can always check tomorrow. My moneys on the throttle potentiometer being fknackered or incorrectly adjusted.....
No fraid not. I was half way through replacing all the bits that I could do, pipe leads etc.
I checked the potentiometer with a multimeter and there didn't seem to be any drop offs with the voltage. I was hoping there would be. I even disconected it and the problem was still the same. Hope this helps a bit.

I have checked most things and am running out of things to check.
Maybe a new ECU reqd?

The bloke I took the 350 to when it was running like sh1t was Dave at crown garage in leek 01538 382600 He sorted it for £35 as I said he has alot of knowledge of the RV8 in land/range rovers etc, every time I go past he has something else in there a Stag, Cobra, MGRV8, he does alot of work on classic cars, old jags etc. I think him and his Dad would fix it but it is along way out.

Thought that was adjusted via a screw on the bottom of plenum ? Sort of a throttle stop ?
That's the problem Paul, there is no adjustment screw. At idle the throttle plate has no gap thus difficult to set up pot correctly
