Has anyone else discovered the 'temporary' road around the reservoir pumping station on the road between Datchet and Wraysbury. put there after a pipe collapsed taking the original road with it!

it is less than 1/4 mile long, but it is like a mini alpine pass (without the gradient) excellent quality Tarmac. the only problem is it is a bit narrow, and if you get it wrong you are either in a sunflower field, a lake or the armco. and of course the 20mph speed limit

Go check it out

Yeah been round it a few times. It's a pain in my Alfa. The suspension is so soft I can't go faster tha 10mph in case I end up over the side.

Came across that last night buy total surprise, was about to push on somewhere past the limit when much braking was required.

Really good fun if your not half asleep (armco is a bit close when there's a van coming the other way!)

It is a proper pain in the arse...I have to use it twice everyday and it is full of numpties that cannot drive..They think I must not hit the barrier so they use the other side of the road..Do they think a car will do less damage than a barrier..Dont even get me started on the idiot of a bus driver....
