Any Porsche, or in particular 993, fans know where I can find a die-cast model anywhere?

Have managed to find a 993 Turbo, but not after that. Have tried the places I know but with no luck, anyone got any pointers please?

Which scale are you looking for?

If 1:43 is what you're after, then try either www.diecasts.biz (click on the Minichamps link) or www.gmundcollection.co.uk (phone for an up-to-date stock). www.gotmodels.co.uk may be able to help also.

If you would prefer 1:18, try either eBay or Gmund Collection (see above for website).

Standard 993 coupes are quite rare - it's really the Turbo's and GT2's that caught the modellers' imagination!

Hope this helps,

I've seen them on ebay in the past - I came quite close to bidding on a diecast 1:18 scale 993 Targa. It was a shop that was selling, and they had a number of other die cast 911s, so it may be worth a look.

Not sure how often they come up though, of course.

UT Models did 1:18 versions of the standard coupe, Targa, convertible, Turbo, Turbo S, RS and GT2.

Not that great quality wise in my view, but the best I have managed to find so far.

Staggered by some of the Ebay prices for these - if my wife finds out, I fear for my collection.

my eldest son has one that I found in a toy shop on fulham high street called "hiya kids" (or something like that) ... only cost a couple of quid ... and its yellow ... its got those giro wheels (or whatever you call them) too that when you pull the car back it zooms forward on its own.

I've got a 1:18 993 RS that I bought at the Porsche Festival a couple of years ago at Brands... can't remember the brand though. Lovely car though

Am looking to get a few more 1:18 models of great Porsches, apparently AutoArt and Minichamps make good'uns in 1:18 scale.
