brake servo V8S

Can anyone confirm that the brake servo on the V8S is from the Saab 9000 (pre-ABS?)as previous threads indicate this is the correct part for the S2/3, I have sourced a secondhand one but just want to check first before buying (from Neo Bros Ltd of Walthamstow for £25 plus £9.95 delivery Tel [phone] if this helps anyone in the future)

Yep. I got one from a local srapyard, just check theres no rot on the bottom of the servo, most are well protected on the non ABS 9000 so are in very good condition.

got the above servo from a Saab 9000 and it fits and works fine, just had a slight problem with the different (smaller) drilled holes on the 2 small metal plates on the servo rod end-piece that facilitates connection to the brake pedal. A little modification required but not too much bother.
Also got S/H brake master cylinder from the same model, not fitted yet but seems exactly the same as what is fitted to V8S.
Both S/H parts in very good condition presumably due to previously mentioned protected position on the Saab.
