Lateral Clutch pedal movement and keyFOB

Noticed today that my clutch pedal could move about 3/4 of a cm left and right...

Has it always done this? Do they all do this? Is it an easy thing to tighten if not...?

I would go look myself but the cars underground in the car park and I have fresh microwave pizza and am desperately trying to finish modelling this apache ah64 helicopter! Lazy!

Also, I noticed the range on my keyfob has fallen off considerably... is changing the battery in those things stress free? Or is it a case of loosing codes etc if you up!

Also... I got back in an Elise the other day... maaan the noble clutch pedal is spring heavy compared... wonder why its so stiff!

My clutch pedal has a bit of lateral play too.

Yes, I think that's OK - mine moves lef to right too.
