high crankcase pressure

i have high crank case pressure, when i take breather hose off plenum, it seems overboard with hot steam also vally gasket is visibly under pressure, is it a head gasket problem.

Even if the headgasket is at fault it wont pressurise the crank case. Crank case compression comes from gasses escaping past the rings.Although Crankcase breather could be blocked, this would cause pressure to build up. Look here first then maybe a compression test to evaluate ring/bore condition.

Not just the breather, but check the pipe that connects the breather to the plenum. This can become blocked,as can the air passage into the plenum. Check for restrictions by blowing down the pipe.
