Knowledge, scattered bits of pork, willingness to chat for a bit, excellence, penty of KY for the bigger bills

From experience, have tried and been happy with Specialist Cars of Malton, PH Sportscars in Derby, Tower Porsche in S London, and Daytona Coachworx in Stevenage

There's NO specialists in S. Ireland ... But if there were it'd be comforting if they were as enthusiastic about the marque as their customers are.

The last of the specialists closed down in Dublin a short while ago .. What a pity , the mechanic was very eager and interested .. While my car was on the ramp he called me in and ran from 'Stem to stern' explaining all the bits that aren't usually visible. It probably only took 5 minutes out of his day , but it was enough to make me decide this was the place I'd be bringing my motor.

maybe he'd still be in business if he had spent the time fixin someones RMS insteadhehe

Hmm, interesting question.

Not necessarily strictly in order:

Firstly - a recommendation

Secondly - knowledge

Thirdly - enthusiasm

Fourthly - reasonable prices and nothing wasted on fripperies, I don't go to a Porsche specialist for a cup of coffee

Fifthly - absolutely excellent standard of workmanship

On all of these points I recommend RGA in Vauxhall, though they may take point 4b (no fripperies) a little too far
