how about 301mph with an RC glider? That's the mark recently set by Kyle Paulson in the US. Check out Dynamic Soaring on the web. I've tried it and it's addictive!!

301 with a model glider, blimey. I used to fly a full sized glider, and that wouldn't go that fast if you pointed it straight at the ground (not without breaking the wings off first anyway).
