4.2 big end bearings

Guys, need to tap into the collective knowledge.

Are these bearings Rover (like the mains?) Any one know what type / part nos these are?

Any help appreciated.

I heard it rumoured they were the same part, perhpas take one down to your loacl engien re-con place and see it it measures up the same?

If it looks good does it then snap into the rod OK, If still good then plastigage it onto the crank and if that checks out then it'll be OK

Yes they are standard Rover one's.

I did jot the part number down somewhere but cant find it. Doh.

Real Steel in Uxbridge or Rimmer's Brother's in Lincoln are your best bet there should be some number's on the back of the shell's.
