Last Sunday in Birmingham, nice sunny day, Mrs tvrred in co pilot seat. The Chim is stopped at set of traffic lights with only one lane. Next minute a knackered old white van squeezes alongside....bloody idiot I think. Suddenly there is lots of engine reving coming from the white van and when I look over the two occupants are smiling and waving. So I smile back and give her a few blips on the throttle. Lights turn to green and.........nothing!! Neither of us moved. We looked at each other smiled and then I waved him forward. He then waves me forward and mouths...after you! So I tundle off and he follows for about a mile before we go in different directions at a roundabout, at which point he bibs the horn, waves and gives the thumbs up out of the window. It was a great start to the day!

Any similar experiences?

Oh yes!

But until I actually can afford a TVR i'll have to be content with taking the role of the white van!

Pah. If it'd been my van you'd have been breathing my tyre smoke. Well, for the first 4 centimetres anyway...
