Thornfalcon Show

How many people made it to the Thornfalcon show on Sunday? Well I am disapointed to say I only saw 2 S's there and they were both V8s. Next year I would like a better turn out. There was probably about 450-500 vintage and modern classics and apart from a small bout of rain it was great. Free entry, lots of cars, nice venue and best of all good people to talk to. Look out for it next year, always held in September and held at Hatch Beauchamp playing fields, Taunton, Somerset. I would post some pics I took but havent a clue how to do it.

There were 3 V8Ss on site, one in the car park: mine. I was too much of a pansy to go and get it, I suppose, and it wasn't exactly washed and waxed. I just went along to see the cars, not be an exhibitor. Maybe next year I'll get my act together as it does seem rather a nice event.

Note to organiser: burger van! Or at least get the scouts to have a barbecue.

I always stop at the Garage and check out their Classic cars on sale there , fantastic range of stuff , and the guys in the showroom have always got time for a chat , will definately make sure I get to the show next time.

Hi Christian,
In a rather embarrased tone I have to say mine was parked 300yrds down the road with a cream crakered battery. I would have also felt a little shy with my V6 next to those lovely V8's. I did however come up with a friends white Lotus Esprit instead. Next year however the Tiv will be there polished an all.

I went and had a look, good day apart from the rain. Mine will be finished for next year, so definately there. Went last year as well, weather was better last year!
