Anyone know if any ISPs offer a discount for getting an ADSL service on a second phone line ... e.g. for a holiday house, weekend retreat?

I've not heard of any company offering something like that. To be honest ADSL is so cut throat and BT Wholesale charge a fixed rate for connections (assuming it's not an unbundled exchange) so... it sounds doubtful.

Having said that phone up your provider's sales team as you never know until you ask

I did just that and got a "computer say no" reply from my current ISP (Nildram). Think I might give Freeola a try for the other line. They seem very reasonably priced by any standard and they seem to give fixed IP and some webspace as part of the basic package too.

I looked around and couldnt find anything for this a while back.

If its a holiday home, switch over to Talk Talk or get an Orange mobile on contract and take the free broadband that comes with that.
