Not long to wait now until the new series.

What I want to know is when are Bugatti going to hand the keys over to the stig? And if not why not. How much longer do I have to wait to see the Stig thrash the veyron to within an inch of its life?.

If and when they do where will it come in the Powerlap leaderboard? Will it automatically go to the top? I would laugh if the Ariel Atom beat it, im very imressed where that came.

Sure would be interesting, although I don't neccesarily think the Veyron would come top of the powerlap board. It may have 1000BHP but this may not help it compared to some of the more nimble supercars.

I agree, Topgears track is much more about handling with no real long straights to demonstrate the Veyrons crushing top end punch that very, very few cars could ever hope to match. In tight twisties I'd be suprised if the Atom was slower than a Veyron.

I'd rather see them demonstrate the McLaren going past at 150mph accelerating and the Veyron going from 0-200MPH even faster (or whatever that figure was). I read about theoretical stuff like that, but I really need to see it with my own eyes to really believe it. That's the sort of stuff that TopGear is usually good at doing.

Clarkson will probably do the airstrip thrash in it reading out the MPH as he goes.

Thats if they ever get one.

Don't know if you've heard but Richard Hammond has had a serious accident whilst filming today and is in a critical condition. Hope the guys ok but it doesn't sound good.

Top Gear new series postponed indefinitely.

UK Road Safety Minister DR Stephen ladyman gone on record that the show should NOT be axed, and it should NOT be emasculated by the health and safety fraternity.

To be fair, Ladyman has been on Top Gear doing the "reasonable priced car" thing, drives an Alfa and has NINE penalty points.
