I OWN A MASERATI SHAMAL,I WAS WONDERING IF ANYONE KNOWS OF ANY NON FACTORY ALLOY WHEELS
WHICH I CAN FIT ON TO THE CAR .MAYBE 18 INCHS,HAVE TO SAY THAT I AM VERY PLEASED WITH THE CAR ITS BEEN GREAT FUN!LOTS OF PEOPLE HAVE GIVEN OLDER MASERS BAD PRESS ,BUT THE SHAMAL IS THE BEST MASER IVE OWNED.I HAVE HAD VARIOUS FERRARIS AS WELL .IF ANYONE IS THINKING OF BUYING ONE ,ALL I CAN SAY IS DO IT!I HAVE HAD MINE FOR 3 YEARS AND NOTHING HAS REALLY GONE WRONG.AS LONG AS YOU GET IT SERVICED BY A PROPER SPECIALIST YOU WILL BE OK.MINE HAS BEEN LOOKED AFTER BY MARIOS AT AUTOSHIELD .ITS VERY FAST ,SUPRISINGLY SO,MUCH FASTER THAN MY FERRARI 348 WHICH I HAD .I GAVE MY MATES F 355 A VERY GOOD RUN FOR HIS MONEY .OBVIOUSLY AS IT HAS A SHORT WHEELABASE IT CAN BE A BIT NAUGHTY IN THE WET.ITS HAD A LITTLE FETTLING BY MARIOS, BUT OTHER THAN THAT ITS MOSTLY STANDARD .NOT ONLY THAT,ITS VERY RARE AND THEY SEEM TO KEEP THEIR VALUE VERY WELL TOO.DONT KNOW HOW MANY SHAMALS ARE IN THE UK ,BUT IF ANYONE HAS ANY USEFUL TIPS ON THEM LET ME KNOW.

AH YES, IT HAS GOT A RUDE EXHAUST. FORGOT TO MENTION THAT,ITS ACTUALLY A LOUD CAR WHEN YOU SPOOL IT UP .IT LOOKS SO MUCH BETTER IN THE FLESH THAN PHOTOS. ITS JUST A LITTLE THUG REALLY!

Do you know what, i think i bought your old black bi turbo coupe off you cica 1999.was it at Andy Heywoods neck of the woods?, not too sure mind you mr Ghibli cup , it was a good car when it worked ha ! if it was yours how did you find the old bi turbo? I am glad you have still kept your Cup .

Hi it was me who bought it off you, it did have a zender kit on it and it was black.
It was my first maser.I bought it to go with my ferrari at the time.It was ok when worked but it kept on rusting everywhere , mind you so did my Ferrari.

I sold the black bi turbo for a 224 which was a great car at the time .I do think Cups and Shamals are very underrated cars and very misunderstood too.Lots of people ask me which car i would prefer a Ghibi Cup or the Shamal, and which is faster.I have to say either as i love them both.I dont really know which is faster all i know the shamal was proved and tested by owning both a lot faster than my 348 .I have never driven a Cup in anger which is a shame!
