Not sure what point the program was trying to make really. Sort of anti-speed but didn't try very hard. That physchiatrist also rubbished the speed limited car which was nice. Shame they never touched on driver training as an issue.

Blimey have you guys got the computer next to the tv...

IT was a very odd program, almost as if they changed producers halfway through...

Probably blew the budget on Damon Hill's bit.. and shock horror he speeds

(toned down version of comment on other thread)

I was very dissapointed in the BBC. This standard of programe belongs on ITV at 11:20 on a friday. Very poor.

Is it just me or do the majority of Max Power's readers look like hamsters?!? All you ever see of them is the head poking over the steering wheel usually with their cap on back to front!!!!!!!!!!

And having wannabee idiots like Tara wassername and that ugly african (singer?) who are proven to be car incompetents (see Top Gear attempt at driving!!!!) are doing NOTHING to help anybody against the deliberate misleading of the public!!! Tara stating "I'd never travel with anyone who drives over the limit. I'd stop and get out!" She has 10 points and a 3 month ban for driving at 55 in a 30 FFS!!!!!!
And also the deliberate twisting of facts, the old LIES again:-
a) over 30% of deaths caused through speeding and
b) 1mph drop in speed will save 5% lives
When will Johnny Public stand up against the deliberate falsification of facts? enabling PhonyToniesCronies more highway robbery..............
LIES LIES AND MORE LIES!!!!!!

Can't remember his name but the Essex bloke who drove the speed limited Skoda was on the 2001 Gumball Rally.

Did anyone notice that the guy that was driving the speed restricted car seemed amazed that people were overtaking him on the left when the prat was driving in the right hand lane at 70mph?
