T350C RR just past the 48,000 mile mark. Just been through its 12k service at SFR Engineering and all is well bar a minor leak from the steering wrack top end fine all clearances fine. Just thought i'd share this with PH.

Shane at SFR was a sound guy and i will be taking it there from now on.

He was saying that he used to build the tvr's at the factory and he said it seems that if you have it fully blueprinted from new even with the extra power from the RR conversion it benefits you in the long run.

Yes but what about....

Pistons/rings
big/small ends/crank
gearbox/linkages
suspension/dampers
driveshafts

The fact its been rebuilt not that conclusive really coz i've seen rebuilt engines needing rebuild again in 10k and in some cases 3 rebuild by 25k. I was just trying to bring some joy to fellow sp6 owners and trying to prove there are some good engines out there.

A good engine being one that can do 40 odd thousand & one need rebuilding once ? Don't get me wrong, I know what you're saying, but its hardly time to start shouting from the rooftops is it.

Why do you want to try and prove there are some (lots) of good engines out there. Anybody who knows what they are talking about knows that. Its the nob jockeys who drive them without care that need rebuilding ?

All the same, it would be better to hear a story that said, 48k miles under your belt and no rebuild.

Unless you've done 500 miles in the last 24hrs I'm still ahead of you on the mileage front, just.
No engine rebuilds.
Planning on selling it before Christmas though so I might ease off on the miles, try to keep it below 54k. So the record may be yours soon.
Unless there is another pan-galactic mileage one out there.
