Removing Tunnel Arm Bolsters - Recover costs
Discussion
I cannot see any way to remove the arm bolsters in the Chim without butchery. Firstly is there an easy way to achieve this?
Secondly for some reason the material has crazed/cracked in places (leather?) the rest of teh interior is mint. I would therefore like to get them recovered - has anyone done this and what are the likely costs ?

have you taken the centre console out? i recovered mine some time ago if my memory serves me correctly once the console is out you can get to the fixings it is glued on with evo stick.they are normally vinyl, if it is, the damage was probably caused by back to black or some other silicone based polish warm soapy water is the best thing to clean vinyl
Like wackey racer said,I pressume you have taken the centre console out, because after that it should just lift of besides disconnecting an alarm module.
If you haven't,there are two exposed screws front(left and right),at the back if you lift the base of the containery thingy where you put your coins, there should be two long screws to come out, cant remember also if you need to take off the rubber on the hand brake handle and unscrew the gearknob, but im sure you'll work it out. Then put a bit of vas arounnd the door control knob so you don't rip the leather or stuff the stitching, push or pull the window controll buttons out and hey presto.
