Epson 2100 ink cartridge problem

I think it's a chuck it in the skip and buy a new one time... but, just in case anyone has had a similar problem...

Light flashing indicating one ink is running out...
then goes constant...
change ink...
light stays on?
try another new cart...
light stays on??

Fiddled with the seating, wiped the contacts clean, all looks fine. Any ideas?

Once Epson heads go, they really really go. Could be that and in that case it's a skip solution. All other brands have replacement heads but not Epson.

Thanks anyway. It must be getting on for 5 years old so I guess it hasn't done too badly.
