I'm looking to change my car from my Chimaera which I've owned over 3 years now.... The short list is...

Tamora
Tuscan (find 1 with a recent engine re-build)
Grif 5.0 (would love a final 100 car but are these over priced?)
Last of the Chimaeras with the enclosed headlights (4.5 or 5.0)

The Chimaera seems to be the best value and still love the shape. Worry though that I will want a change in shape soon if I buy another.

Tamora seems to be great value but worried about the Speed 6 engine. Can get a newer car than a Tuscan for my money.

The Tuscans seem to be getting good value now if I can find 1 with a recent engine re-build.

The Grif's (last 100 made) are a true classic but I worry that they're over priced.

Any opinions would be appreciated.

Cheers

I think the Tuscan's look lovely - that would be my choice. I'm in a Chimaera 4ltr at the moment and that would be where I would go I think.

Griff's excellent also...

It's a nice problem to have though, just enjoy the test drives!!!

For me it would be a toss up between the Tuscan MK 1 and the Tamora.

I think the Tuscan's just look amazing, whilst the Tamora has a Je ne sais quoi, but it does sound way better than the Tuscan IMHO.

Drive both and then make your decision. I've heard of some people discounting the Tuscan because of the way it drives, whilst I've never heard a bad thing about the Tamora.

Apart from the look of them. (IMO of course)

For me it would be Chim 5.0 or Tuscan. Generally the Tusc would be more expensive so it depends if this is a criteria. Much fewer late Chim 5.0 to chose from.

Only you can decided this, something is worth what people will pay for it... If you mean you can't afford one that's a different thing. Personally I'd get the Griff.

Ooh definitely the Tuscan. In black. lick A real blokey car. The Tamora is a bit too girlie and the rump of the Griff is not to my liking.

The tuscans do look brilliant but have heard that the early ones can have a lot of probs. In my opinion, stick with the rover v8 and either get a chim 500 or a grif. I have had my chim 500 for a few months now and it has been amazing. Feels a totally different car to my mates chim 400. If you are wanting something obscene then get a grif or chim 500 and get the tvr power supercharger. Thats my next plan.
