Only question i ever ask of these people is Where are the fcucking parents when their kids are being run down? and When will parents start taking responsibility and teaching their kids like they did when i was a nipper?
I suppose it's not trendy to indoctrinate (for those with CS read 'teach') your kids in Islington.

It pissed me off so much this is my reply:
"Cars are responsible for the deaths of thousands of children a year" - Now how do you work that out?
Emissions? - Modern cars clean the air that they pass through the engine so 'emissions' cannot be the answer, in fact to increase the number of buses would increase pollution because most buses are old diesel buses which are very dirty emissions wise.
Children being hurt or killed in 'accidents'? - The number killed in accidents each year is less than thousands, and in any case, how many are purely the fault of the motorist? Why are children allowed to roam the streets un-supervised? A very few get knocked down on pedestrian crossings I agree, but the rest are the result of children running out into the road without looking. Education and supervision would limit this, not reducing the number of motorists, especially in the cases of children playing 'chicken'.
I cannot think of any other way for motorists to kill children and therefore conclude that you were spouting absolute drivel and have no idea what you are talking about.
By the way I am sure a small number of motorists would use public transport if it was a real viable alternative, I for one use a car because my 30 minute commute would take nearly one and a half hours by public transport.
