Tubi on Murci - Video
Discussion
I was doing a spring clean on my computer and work files, and came across an old video I recorded last year. Tuan came round with his Murci so I could take some promo pics and footage of his Tubi for the Scuderia Systems web site (well, that was the ruse anyway - truth was I just wanted to hear it!).
A heavily edited version of this video already exists on the site, but I had forgotten what I actually edited out. So I played it again, and found myself chuckling along with the video when it started. As a homage to the Lambo that has now left Tuan's hands, I thought I'd show you the first few seconds of the footage:
Clicky here. Turn your sound up LOUD!
I love the juvenile giggling at the end. And if you want an idea on just how much hot gas those cylinders expel, take a look at the exhaust fumes that shoot out when Tuan blips the throttle!
I used to live in an area called Sneyd Park in Bristol, and this video was taken right outside my house there. If you know Sneyd Park you know that about 90% of the residents were born before the war, so the sight of a Murci on a street like this is a bit conspicuous. There were people a couple of hundred yards down the street popping their heads out of their windows to see if Armageddon had come, and I had old biddy actually come round to complain about the noise later that afternoon. Apparently it woke her up with a jump, God bless her soul.
After this we went for a drive out of Bristol and back. It was a great day.

Simon,

)The loud one, I think its known as the Tubi 'Rumore' which means 'noise' in Italian! Yours will be the loud one I think. I can't imagine its previous owner opting for a quiet version!
Just had 2 parallel black stripes put on today, over the bonnet and roof. Actually looks really good. Amazing how many more people opt to drive it at Brunt when its got something on that makes it look faster!!
