an Ignition Module ? I beleive the part number is DAB118 or DLB198.

My car keeps cutting out at idle and it seems to be getting worse and it's giving me a right sore head

I have done ALL the usuall checks and replacements but the only thing that i've not changed is the Ignition module.... god I hope this works

Are the ignition module and ignition amplifier the same thing?

If so I believe it's a Metro part.

It is: I paid a tenner for a genuine Lucas 'Metro' module. Works perfectly. I believe (though I don't know for sure) that it's electrically identical to the RR part.

A tenner ! They are 65 quid from ACT !?!

Take the numbers to any decent local car parts factor, ie Partco, Centrals, Andrew Page, LSUK etc and they will be able to supply an identical part much cheaper than £65. Do try and buy a decent brand though.
