I'm thinking about bidding on these:

but i'm a bit worried as i thought that you needed 4 fronts for a cerbie. I've spoke to the seller and he says he had them on his cerbie with no problems and they just bolt on?

You should be ok depending on the tyres you use. I have the same setup on mine and up until changing my rear tyres from Toyos to F1's I've had no problems. However the F1's have a much squarer shoulder and are rubbing on the arches under compression over a bump. It should be easy enough to fix though by raising the ride height slightly as mine is set a bit to low. However if you have standard non adjustable suspension this won't be an option, however if you use Toyos you will probably be ok anyway.

Grinding arches? Is that before the wheels will even fit or just to give clearance over bumps?
Hacksaw off rear hubs? Is that easy to do?
Lock stops? Where will I get those?
The wheels come with the nuts so thats that one covered.

Whats the basis for suggesting they are fragile. I have had spiders a couple of times and havent had any issues (not like the racelines). I know they have a reputation for buckling but I havent seen that. I know the son in law of the co that makes the wheels (he is marketing director) and whilst he isnt a 'techy' he felt they were a reasonable quality wheel (unlike just about the after market wheels you see in EVO etc).

You do have to take care wrt to possible wires that can find their way to the area that you are grinding.
The trickiest bit is reattaching parts that are moved/removed and finishing. Had to move a 100x200mm section from my front arch to clear the front wheels. Suggest that if it's a large section you don;t remove it completely but create a flap that is still attached that you can move out of the way and re fibreglass in position.
Worst part of the job is the dust. Would reccomend doing it outside in the rain if possible!

FG resin dust goes everywhere!!!Just fitted a front and rear set to mine and no immediate problems. Didn't need to saw rear hubs either, I think that is actually only if you are using fronts on the rear, with the 42 offset they will sit closer into the body than the rears which have a 33 offset I think. Effectively the benefits you save on one side (not hacking your hubs) you lose on the other with potential rubbing on the arches. I must say that I have not driven my car yet since fitting but plan to do so this afternoon, I have bounced on the rear corners a bit but not really seeing that I will have a problem. Mind you my rear ride height does seem pretty high so that is probably helping. If you get them at a good price you could always speak to pxwheel who do the exchange refurbs, think you did that did you not Gazzab, will take rears and give you front back, obviously you have to pay a bit more money out.
If they go for anything like the money they are at at the mo then you will have a bit of a bargain, and I will feel a bit sick as just paid a lot more.
