Can I speak to the Person Who...

Everyday I get at least three calls from someone wanting to plug their services to us. Most of them ask for 'the person who deals with...' but some ask for me personally as I am the director.

I have learned to nip these calls in the bud.

But on a busy / bad day, it is the last thing I want... I realise that we advertise, but how can I stop these particular calls?

I've recently started up myself, as soon as you end up on a database you're knackered and it did my head in until I found that the TPS had a specialist section for corporations.

I used to get fed up with all the call, but not enjoy making up something weird.! Try it - its fun getting their reaction.

Best one was advertising, said Ive not seen their multi million pound adverts.

But its been on TV. -
I dont have a TV, ...... its against my religion....... Jedi....... in the end the sales guy was laughing and said 'may the force be with you'! result.

It also helps to ask them where they got the information from, and specifically ask them to remove your number from their database to stop them calling again.

If your product was that good I would be phoning you, as I haven't it isn't, so try selling it to someone who is more gullible, thank you, goodbye.
