Is it just me or do there seem to be fewer people using this forum than there used to be? Topics used to get a lot more replies, a lot more quickly a while ago when I first starting posting on here. Maybe my topics have gotten more boring? I wouldn't rule that out. There were a lot more rows and sin binning too. I haven't had a barney with anyone for ages! It seems the trolls have run off with the rose tinted brigade. What's going on?

I've noticed that too, I hate to say it, but I think natural cycle of things, I think people get to a point where all that can be said on a subject has been said and they move on.

Maybe it's because of MSN. Local groups can now chat realtime to vetted friends.

I'll have a row with you if you fancy one pits. Choose a subject and we can get started. Seriously though, my main gripe is that it's getting a bit dull around here. I will have to find something more constructive to do if things don't improve. TVR used to be dynamic, that's what got me hooked originally. Every time I walked into a newsagents as a student, I'd be drawn to the latest plastic fantastic from blackpool on the top shelf. I was utterley determined to be a part of it and eventually, with a bit of luck and mithering I was. Nowadays, the pace is slow, the vibes are bad and prospects are poor. One day perhaps, people will acknowledge that the brilliance of TVR at it's best was down to it's leadership. On a more positive note, maybe this kind of brilliance will be repeated in the future.

Or the constant arguments and the level to which TVR are/are not in the poo have p1ssed off ppl to the extent that they cant be arsed anymore. Then again it could be a lot down to posts like yours extolling the unremitting doom and gloom and bitchslapping of Slick Nic with what looks like being an almighty grudge. Who knows, but God its dull. Do us a favour and change the record.

Absolutely.
S6 made of chocolate? Check.
Factory Moving? Check.
Factory not moving? Check.
Various upgrades? Check
Not much else is there? Perhaps we need a new model to drool over and get some positive vibes going again.

I'm still drooling over my old model. Mind you, if it had been a bloke I'd have traded him in by now!

I've noticed this section a wee bit clogged up with threads about local meets and stuff like that recently! No problem with threads like that, just wondered if it would be best to have a different section for that kind of stuff and keep this one for advice etc?

There already is a different section, for that very reason.

It's a shame because it used to be a buzzing forum, arguments, trolls and all. I'm not sure Ted's stricter censorship policy is such a good thing. It comes back to that old 'freedom of speech' chestnut. I know it can be abused but it's a shame we can't name and shame for example. I think it would be good for dealers to know they have to pull their socks up or they'll get shamed for it. Maybe there should be a special anything goes area? If people get too annoyed or upset they can just avoid it. It's all got a bit too pc around here lately which for me isn't a good fit with the tvr brand. A huge part of the appeal of TVRs is their total disregard for all things politically correct. Long may it facking inue!

As I understand, PH can't name and shame for legal reasons.

As I understand, PH can't have 'true anything-goes' discussions for legal reasons.

You can't lay the 'blame' on Teds door and his "strict censorship policies" rolleyes - they are there for a reason - to cover himself and PH, and us as individuals from the wider PC brigade, not the PH PC brigade.

Plus, it's also unfair to those who are named & shamed. You're only getting 1 side of the story. Who is not to say that the story is 100% factual, or perhaps is biased, or missing 'key' facts (either intentionally or not).

Your memory must be failing you if you don't recall the Brake situation, and all the possible legal exposure and fallout from that.

Personally I'm sick of the bitching. It's bad enough with all the non owners and fantasists that come on here to troll (where are you LA?). But the recent emergence of axe grinding Blackpool rejects who have no purpose but to slag the company and it's management and presumably put the rest of their ex workmates jobs in jeapardy have raised the vomit induction quotient to a level where I can't be arsed to argue anymore.

Well, if you knew it, then why make idiotic statements like "I'm not sure Ted's stricter censorship policy is such a good thing".

I'm with unrepentant on this .... can't be arsed to argue. And we shouldn't be between ourselves.

I think you'll find that when the dark winter nights set in it will all change. Much the same if the TV/power is cut off the birth rate goes up. Apparently. So rumour has it. Hmmm.

Just trying to encourage a little debate dear boy. And I'm still not sure it's such a good thing for the reasons expressed. Chief among these is the idea that dealers couldn't get away with shoddy treatment as there would be an internet forum out there somewhere that exposes what they get up to. I think it would be a great thing if there's one out there for builders, why not car dealers too?
