I have an Alpina B3S Cabrio.

I do a fair few motorway miles, and sometimes find the windnoise and general racket from other vehicles quite wearing (yes the roof is closed!) so am thinking of getting a hard top for the winter months.

Do they make the car coupe-like in refinement? Do you notice the extra weight?

Any views much appreciated.

Robert.

Only been in a couple of E36 328's and found the noise very similar to driving a Hard top car. I am at the moment looking for a E46 M3 convertable and will make sure I get one with a hard top

Extra weight not noticeable imo.

It is a little quieter, but nowhere near as quiet as a coupe.

defently get 1 if you can source 1 at a decent price mate.I have 1 for my m3 and it transforms the car.reduces the noise quite abit and i quite often get comments that the car luks its best with it on.

Worth the money I think, mine is a little quieter, keeps the soft top nice for summer and is relatively easy to store.

You can even stick it through a car wash with the hard top on if your so inclined.
