Hi guys i am looking to fit a cd changer to the boot of my 318 touring on a 2003 reg the head unit is a business and the leads that i have in the boot include one 4 pin connector and one 2 pin connector i can't find a serial multi plug so:
1) is this plug needed on a 2003 plate
2) do i have the correct leads to connect a changer
3) where can i get the relative equipment needed including the changer

All Help would be greatly appreciated thanks Paul....

The car will be pre-wired, they all are.

The CD player will just plug straight in but you will need the black metal bracket to fix it to.

I've ditched my CD player and gone for an Ipod and would seriously suggest you do the same, but if you really want a CD player there are plenty on ebay as that where most people who go for an ipod sell their redundant players.

Yes you can, the stereo is still connected to the wheel controls and they work in the same way.

I've set mine up so the 1-6 buttons on the head unit select playlists (rock/pop/classical etc)

Then with the random function selected on the head unit every time you hit the 'up' button on the steering wheel it'll randomly select a track from that playlist.
If you happen upon a tune from an album you want to listen to, de-select random play.

You only need a steering wheel interface box (by Connects2) if you install a bluetooth kit.

One thing to note is that the Connect2 ipod kit may be cheaper, but won't have the funtionality of the Denison kit.
