Exciting the Senses

we all know how Cerbs excite us, looks, sound , touch , not sure about taste , but smell...I love the aroma when I open the garage and whiff the Zymol, and the leather, but i want to obtain that special Castrol R smell, Now I know running castor based oil will end in tears as the engine needs to be stripped and thouroughly cleaned at regular intervals when using such, so how can I obtain that smell, would putting a capfull into the fuel harm the injectors, I know it can be done on normally aspirated engines?

2 bits of cotton wool, soaked in Castrol R and inserted into each nostril is the safest way to achieve the desired effect. First I've heard of soomeone wanting there engine to SMELL nicer

PS - How are you going to drive it, AND run along behind it with your nose up the exhaust?

or an fs1e, i remember thinkin i was the dogs danglies with castrol r in my fs1e, but im all grown up now

Years ago I remember a biker adding a teaspoon of castrol R per tank of two-stroke. Your problem will be can the castrol survive the experience of meeting your cats? A better idea maybe to drip a bit of castol R into your hot electric toaster (while the little lady is out)

I used to run Castrol R40 in my 1984 RD 500 YPVS. It was £9 a litre then! With four pots burning the stuff it got through quite a lot but it smelt just like a GP bike. What is it with the smell of burning castor oil that seems to please the mind in some strange way. Good old days though, wish I still had her. They fetch up to £5k now, it only cost £3495 new!!
