Hello again. I became a sort of regular about two months ago but due to leaving my job I have been too occupied to concentrate on PH's - I AM SO SORRY!!!

Good news now though. I have a new job and my first Assistant managers job.... in fact my first job in charge of others!!

I will show more dedication to the forum now and would like to apologise for my absence.

By the way - the Ecotek valave I put on - it definately helps petrol economy but not much else. Just in case people thought of getting one.

Brrrrrr! ICE doesnt make that much of a difference. I killed the poor thing and the VTS too

So can anyone actually tell me the ansswer. I know its a rare one as most sensible people wouldnt buy one but a friend of mine is thinking of putting one in his Nova as its a lot lighter than the 2.0 lumps.

But, but, but.... Its a Nova...

Surely for the cost of buying and fitting a 1.6 Tigra engine (not the best of 1.6 lumps btw), he could actually buy something decent?

Especially if he sold the nova...

Bear in mind that an engine swap will crucify him come insurance time (Im assuming he is early 20's).

Decent MR2's can be had for 4k, 2k would buy a totally mint 1.9 GTi, Porsche 924 and 944s arent all that pricey... The list is pretty much endless.
