They're not videos, they are animated GIFs with four frames from each video.
What exactly do you 'hate'? I appreciate feedback, but please try and be constructive.

I was looking for a vid from way back, so was a bit suprised to see only 3 (or was it 4) pages! Obviously the more you view, then more become available, but it is difficult finding something from the archive. Animated gifs are distracting IMO

Yes, the search facility was awful and I felt that being able to see a brief preview of the vid would be a useful feature.
It was so crude that people weren't using it. Submissions rates have gone up lots since the revamp.

I`m not certain what the answer is. Given that the latest clip is number 1028, that would mean 100 pages! Certainly your current idea is excellent for getting a general idea of what is on each new submission, but would a new viewer trawl through more than a couple of dozen pages? How about a link to an older style list/description menu?
I often forget to check out PH TV because it's so far down the main page and just text links, easy to miss. I always end up checking out the featured classifieds though because of the pretty picture and prominent location 
. I Also find the animated gifs a bit distracting, two or three random screencaps would be fine (bit like google video) otherwise it's motion overload with a whole page of moving gifs!
Also a front page with categories for say top five videos in something like the following categories
- Most popular by number of views
- Highest rated
- Newest submissions
- Most discussed
This allows the you to sort the wheat from the chaff so to speak, you can see what everyone is talking about, you can see the newest stuff and you can see the all time favourites by popular vote.
Also streetfire.net has a simpler rating format that is simply a thumbs up or thumbs down, so now I only bother watching videos that have a +1 or more score (admittedly there is lots of crap to sort through there).
