Does anyone know where to get hold of seats for a 98 chim?

The drivers seat in mine is loking a bit saggy. Has anyone ever replaced seats before? New or used.

i removed and replaced seats on my previous chimp and its very straitforward.just 4 nuts and washers holding the seat assembly to the car(be sure to keep washers in same place as some are cut to avoid fouling underbody)my seats were not heated, but if yours are then it should be easy to just unplug wires just under the seat somewhere?.you have several options on actually rectifying the saggy problem:buy new from tvr,try a spcialist breaker like fibreon(07812730759),have it re-furbished by a re-trimmer(several advertise in tvr sprint),this shouldnt get too pricey if leather is ok as then its usually just foam and/or support diaphragm that needs replacing.or you could diy-a bit tricky but very satisfying if you take your time.hope this helps-mv

Try www.douglasvalley.co.uk vehicle breakers.
They got Tuscan's,Griff's,S and Chimaera's in. Might have some seats?

Thanks for the replies. I have e-mailed the breakers and although they don't have any Chimaera seats in my colour, they do have a couple of cerbie seats. Can these be fitted to a 98 Chimaera without modifications?
I seem to recall that later Chimaeras were fitted with Cerbie seats as standard.

The late Chim did have Cerby seats. See Henley Heritage site - they've got a 2001 Chim in the 'for sale' bit and you can see the Cerby seats.
Don't know if they bolt straight in though??
Good luck!

Forgot to say - if you do go for it check which Cerby seats they are (orig Cerby or Tuscan style). Cheers
