Apologies if you read this in another thread elsewhere - I need maximum response.

I'm looking for a bodywork prep company who have good experience in building MK2 Escorts preferably within 100 miles of Reading. I don't have a massive budget so the likes of Gartrac and the Irish/Welsh Group 4 prep guys are out.

The work required, transmission tunnel, floorpans, OS sil, possible chassis rails, bulkhead gussets, 4 link boxes, dummy fit GRP4 alloy arches & spoiler but would be subject to an assessment overall. The plan is for fast road/light competetion, Tuned Zetec/Duratec, etc.

Its a MK2 Harrier that I'm trying to bring back to life, I've done a fair amount already but no longer have the time/space to do this level of work.

All opinions gratefully recieved, both good and bad, particularly bad! Must be South-ish.

Thanks, Jay

Besides making the excellent Aeon kit car, Aeon sportscars in Tonbridge also do a lot of race prep so might be worth talking to them on 01622 833 037.

I can recommend AC Motorsport Bridgewater direction a little out of your way though, he's not expensive & has an excellent reputation. I've seen his handywork many tiems & today I've been driving one of his MKII's & its top stuff. Carries all the right bits in stock too.

PM me for Andy's contact details
