Car mats with Logos

Have any of you guys had custom made mats with logos on them made for your P & J?
If so where in NZ and how much please.

Just guessing but if you only wanted them for show, rather than daily use, you could get a black mat with a very short, fine pile and take it to one of those places that embroiders logos onto baseball caps.

I had some custom ones made for our 911 at Kerry's Upholstery Specialists
1 Hokio Beach Rd Levin 0-6-368 9792.

I know it's not local to you but they did an awesome job and the two mats were around $60 from memory. They were black with black stitched edging and the PORSCHE font embroided in Red. Looked factory and they even put the ringlets in to stop the mats moving. Differant fabrics are available. Very clever crowd and top workmanship. They used to trim out the 550 Spyder & 356 replica's among other cars.

Sounds great and reasonably priced. Did you just give them an original mat for them to use as a template? Or dimensions over the phone was sufficient?

You'd just need to get Elise and Esprit templates.

Yeah thought of doing something similar. I know we have a club template with an embriodery place located in Onehunga, which I have used before on t-shirts, but car mats I will have to ask eh!

I just dropped my old mats in and he traced around them. You could do the same tho and post the template down or just send your old mats down. Someone in Auckland should be able to do this job but from experience I've found the small town guys cheaper and better to deal with. Just my own experience tho. If you deal with him (Kerry) tell him I sent you as he knows me and will look after you. I did get my mats done over 18 months ago now so that price may have varied a bit. I supplied the logo off my owners manual and they scanned it and had it embroided in red. I'm sure he'll send you some sample squabs to choose the grade of matt you want.

Bloody hell thats cheap that seat looks great, thanks heaps. Your right about the small town guys having good service. Sounds like a plan tracing the original mats too. I will give the guy a call.
