Water cooled oil cooler fitment.
Discussion
I have just imported a Fluidyne water / oil heat exchanger to fit into my Ultima to hopefully keep the water temps down in traffic (std 4 core rad fitted).
My car runs a dry sumped 409c.i SBC with factory fitted oil cooler.
I need to pick up an oil input feed and obviously oil return to the exchanger.
Should I retain the factory oil cooler aswell as this ?.
Where would be the best place to plumb the new unit in :
which water hose should I plumb into to get best cooling results,
does the dry sump system effect which oil line I plumb into ?.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Cheers

You might find some useful info here. Peterpsg has fitted something similar to yours. I went for the Mocal one down by the fuel tank.
