My Z4MC was to be delivered this Thursday but the dealer rang to say that the car has been held at Thorne, he said no Z4MCs were being delivered to dealers and was unable to tell me why, anyone else having a problem ?

I'm sorry, but it sounds like you dealer is fibbing to you. It may be possible if the car was damaged or 'unsatisfactory' that Thorne may have kept it to re-finish it.

A friend took delivery of his Z4M Coupe last week as part of the first customer batch as well as other posted on here.

If you want to send me the chassis number, I have a contact who can locate your car.

That doesn't sound right at all. I was in Dick Lovett in Swindon on Saturday and they certainly had at least one Z4M C

Sounds like a paint job to me. Thorne have their own paint shops to rectify damage suffered on the journey....

Dealer justed called and said a number of Z4MCs have a fuel pump problem and BMW are dealing with this, not sure if anyone else has had the same story ?

Thornes body shop is so good you would be hard pressed to find out if it had been repaired anyway.....Have seen a 7 series that had been hit up the ar5e hard and it was like new...all the press cars go there and get fixed after they have been mullered by the likes of Jezza etc and they come out as good as new.

Well I got my Z4MC last week and have had no problems with it whatsoever, so as far as I know there are no issues with the fuel pump or any other component.

There is a remedial action being performed on som fuel pump wiring and this car was caught for action in the system. No news on cars already on the road yet.
