Sorry...... I used to be indecisive, but I'm not sure now!

My car isn't due to be built until January, but I am told I must spec it this week & can't change my mind..panic!

I had originally decided on Cobalt Blue, but having seen a 997TT in that colour I'm not sure it works with all the airdamps & add ons of the GT3/TT.
My favourite colour is silver, love it, had four Porkers & an Aston in that color, easy to clean, looks great, but I fancy a change... the dark metallic greys make it look like a tank, black is crap to keep clean it always looks dirty, yellow/ lime green/orange is too flash for me, so I'm left with Red or Silver, the Red can look great, but only if you keep it waxed within an inch of it's life otherwise it goes orange!

Help... how many of you have seen the new 997GT3 in the flesh in any colour other than white (I didn't like white)anyone seen any in the Reading import park?

Votes please,
RED
SILVER
OTHER IDEAS

Thanks in anticipation........

Blimey thanks guys you were quick off the mark.
Scumbagg (I mean that in the nicest way possible )if you were able to change your mind 4 times that gives me some hope then, I really wanted to see some cars in the flesh in different colours before taking the plunge!
Anyway keep the idea coming.

I was thinking cobalt blue would actually look good with the black bits,
not sure about the red calipers though !

Is everyone going for the leather inside ??
I see the non leather going fine with the white/yellow, but maybe leather with most of the other colours ??

Yes its a very difficult choice (for me too) as I can be very indicisive especially on colours. I think the GT3 colour range is very poor - not many bright metallics, limited choice of flat colours - why is there no maritime or riviera blue flat colour?
You could always commit financial suicide and go for one of the greens or carmann red

I honestly think the new GT3 is so good looking that it can carry almost any colour successfully.

For the 'purposeful/race' look, then it has to be Club Sport spec and a solid colour - white, yellow, red, black.

For the 'Touring/GT' look then perhaps metallic.

Silver works amazingly well.

I think it needs to be a colour which shows off the black detailing on the car - IMO that's one reason why white works so well however as a man of undoubted good taste and style you already know the answer to your own question - it has to be RED! ClubSport spec of course.........

I've seen one in silver that looked really great. I also saw a white one(sorry !) at the weekend parked nose-to-tail with a white Ruf Rt12 or something. And the white does look really, really good.

At the moment, I vote for white.

not much help I'm afraid as I find silver dull and white awful, mine would be one of bright metallics you don't like, probably the orange

Silver is cool. Always has been, and probably always will.

Plenty of other nices choices, though I'm not keen on coloured wheels.

It HAS to be white. I was nosing round the white one at GFOS and it looked brilliant. I wouldn't mind one!

WHITE with black wheels, there is no alternative.

You're only excused to go for red if you order a 430 instead. On Porsche's it's just not done...
